Out of Boredom
It's been a while since i posted here in my blog. I don't know but i have been so lazy to update it. It's like theres really nothing goin on for me to write about. Nothing at all comes to my mind. i am just contented in hopping and reading others blog and posts, dropping some ec's though not much. i don't even wanna grab some opps for the reason that it's not challenging anymore to write because of the small amount they offer for a task. Blogging is also affected by economic crisis.
Well, i have been thinking lately to delete my blog but then i realized i should just keep it... Since it's also a good place for me to rant and vent sometimes. and i wanted to have my own place on the web. Besides this is a personal blog. i can write anything that comes to my mind anytime out of boredom maybe. lol!
Anyway, latest update with my pregnancy... I just had my appointment yesterday. And everything is doin really great with our little one. The heartbeat is normal at 151 bpm, my doctor also measured the height of the fundus and she told me eveything is normal. She also advised me just to maintain my weight right now so i wont go overweight cuz i started at 98 lbs with my pregnancy and now i weighed 122 lbs. so that's it! She told me so i wont have a lot of weight to lose after i give birth.
So on to our next appointment i'll be having a glucose challenge test, it's a test that will assess my body's ability to adequately process sugar during my pregnancy. So they will let me drink 5 oz of glucola. And then they will draw sample of my blood after an hour. I'm hoping i could pass it since we don't have any diabetes in our family.
Oh well... I have nothing more to say for now, i'll be back to post again sometime.

The Big U/S
Okay, so here it goes.... Yesterday was a big day for me and my husband, nope it's not our wedding day! lol! I had my ultrasound appointment yesterday and we found out our baby's gender and it is a GIRL! yay!!! My husband wasn't even surprised at all cuz he says he had a feeling he knew it all along that it was really a girl, in fact everytime he talk about the baby or when he talk to the baby on my tummy he referred to it as a girl. He was calling her princess all along... He told me he just needed a confirmation! He is really so happy cuz he got what he was hoping for. I didn't wait to tell the good news to my friends and my in-laws.
I called my in-laws in Iowa and my MIL got to answer the phone. The moment i told her that they're having their very first grand daughter She broke down and didn't say a word. She was just crying and speechless, i heard my FIL in the background asking her " what's goin on?" He sounded worried thinking that something went wrong with me and my husband. My MIL managed to tell him the good news and they were so ecstatic! That i even cried too while hearing my MIL sob for joy! This baby is like a dream come true to them after having four grand sons with my husband's siblings. Now i am imagining how my baby will be treated as she grow up, The whole family was just so excited to have a first grand daughter and a niece.
The same thing happened when i told the good news to my family in the Philippines. My mom was jumping and screaming for joy! Oh men! It makes me so happy to make them feel like that. This baby is really a blessing to us. I am so thankful that she is doin great inside me, everything looks good on the ultrasound. We just have to wait for our next appointment after a couple of weeks so the doctor can discuss to us everything on the ultrasound. Again i felt relieved seeing and knowing my baby is doing great. She was so active, she just kept on moving and even covered her face with her two hands while we were lookin at her on the screen. she's a bit camera shy! haha! We just can't wait to see her again soon.

Preggo's Update
I'm almost halfway with my pregnancy right now, tomorrow i'll be exactly 19 weeks pregnant. My tummy is getting bigger everyday and feeling my baby's little movement. i feel so happy everytime i feel it. it relieves my worries. Next week on the 15th we will be able to find out my baby's gender. yay! so anxious! Everyone in the family just can't wait. My husband is hoping for a girl, it doesn't really matter to me as long as the baby is healthy. Some people says if you didn't had a hard time with your pregnancy, that means no nausea, vomitting or maybe less of those you are carrying a boy, but if you were too sick at early pregnancy they said its a girl. Well i've heard a lot about it already. some says it's true but some also says its just a myth. Cuz The people who says its a myth they had proven it to themselves. And i will also see it to myself if that is just a myth or not once i found out my baby's gender. i didn't had a hard time at all at my early pregnancy, i didn't even feel i was preggo just until my tummy is getting huge and saw the first ultrasound and heard the heartbeat.
Oh well i really can't wait for my appointment date, i am so excited to buy baby stuff too! and by then we could narrow down our baby names list. i can't believe im gonna be a mom really soon. Sometimes it still makes me feel nervous, This is gonna be the toughest job that i'll be doing in my entire life!! but i know i am not alone, my husband will always be there. We can do this!! Yes we can! LOL!!

Oh well i really can't wait for my appointment date, i am so excited to buy baby stuff too! and by then we could narrow down our baby names list. i can't believe im gonna be a mom really soon. Sometimes it still makes me feel nervous, This is gonna be the toughest job that i'll be doing in my entire life!! but i know i am not alone, my husband will always be there. We can do this!! Yes we can! LOL!!
