Wedding Ring Theory Tag

Got this tag from a good friend and a new blogger Dyanis, thanks for sharing!

Why should the wedding ring be worn on the fourth finger? There is a beautiful and convincing explanation given by the Chinese.....

* Thumb represents your Parents.
* Second (Index) finger represents your Siblings.
* Middle finger represents your-Self.
* Fourth (Ring) finger represents your Life Partner. & the . . .
* Last (Little) finger represents your children.

Firstly, open your palms (face to face), bend the middle fingers and hold them together - back to back.Secondly, open and hold the remaining three fingers and the thumb - tip to tip. (As shown in the figure below):

Now, try to separate your thumbs (representing the parents)..., they will open, because your parents are not destined to live with you lifelong, and have to leave you sooner or later. Please join your thumbs as before and separate your Index fingers (representing siblings)...., they will also open, because your brothers and sisters will have their own families and will have to lead their own separate lives.

Now join the Index fingers and separate your Little fingers (representing your children)...., they will open too, because the children also will get married and settle down on their own some day. Finally, join your Little fingers, and try to separate your Ring fingers (representing your spouse). You will be surprised to see that you just CANNOT..... because Husband & Wife have to remain together all their lives - through thick and thin!! Please try this out and pass............. ISN'T THIS A LOVELY THEORY?

I'm tagging everyone who wants to try it... up for grab again!! sorry lazy to name names.. :)

Blog Update and Our Weather

We are having a very bad weather today. It's spring but it's snowing and we already have like 5 inches of snow outside. This is the worse snow storm we've had this year. So we didn't go anywhere, we just stayed home and watch a movie. The weather condition will stay like this until tomorrow but i hope that it will get better later in the afternoon. i need to go buy a thread for my crosstitch. After 2 years im still working on it. That is what i am getting busy of lately since my husband is hugging the laptop all day because he just signed up for a facebook account and he is getting addicted to it. He is trying to search some of his long lost friends. I can only get to use the laptop when his eyes gets tired and sore. So here i am just trying to update my blog.. just writing something that would fill in my absences. And oh sorry for not dropping ec's lately, there seems to be a problem on their site cuz it won't log me in. I will try again today.

Next season after spring is summer. And as we all know that there are really times that the weather is so hot that we can't even bear to go out under the sun. I myself don't like to stay outside even for a short time during summer cuz the heat of the sun is painful to my skin. I have tried some skin care products that promises to protect my skin from the heat of the sun but i was not satisfied because i still get burn or they make my skin dry.

Ahead of time i want to be prepared for summer time so i am looking for skin care products that i would want to try. As i am browsing online i came accross to
Emerge Labs Organic Skin Care. The organic ingredient in it catched my attention. This is what i need, a natural ingredient without any chemical that will harm my skin. I browse thier website and found out that they carry a huge variety of skin care products like cleansers, toners, therapeutic products, anti-aging, moisturizers, skin lighteners and a whole lot more. Almost Hated Him!

So today i asked my husband if we can go out and take a walk at the trail nearby since the weather was really nice. But he says we'd rather go to a park for a walk so i said ok. So he looked up for a park and found one. This afternoon we went out and head to the park but when we got there we have to pay to go in. Crap!! it is a state park why do we have to pay? we are already paying state and city taxes. So we turn around and drove away. All i wanted was a short walk as exercise. I need it cuz i am already getting closer to my baby's arrival. So as much as possible i wanted to go for a walk for at least half an hour a day.

So what happened was my husband just kept on driving uncertain of where to go. Looking for a park where we could go for a walk. Until we drove farther and farther looking for a place to go. I am getting pissed off! But i kept my mouth shut cuz i don't wanna argue with him. I was thinking i should have went to the trail nearby our apartment. i don't wanna sit in the car for a long time cuz i feel uncomfortable and i hate it when we hit a bumpy road.

He just kept on driving around, The thing was we were not doing a walk instead we were doing a joy ride! interesting! but that's not what i want. I want to go for a walk! Darn it!! After maybe almost an hour or so we stop by a store to pee and buy some stuff we need. Just a few. Then we hit back to the road and stop by a place to eat. But i wasn't really hungry cuz i ate my lunch before we leave. But i still ordered something small to eat. He eat lunch!

After that we were back on the road heading back home. I really just wanted to go back home. pissed off! We took another route and i spotted a lake that looks like close to a park, so i told him. We went there and i was right! There is a park with a lake where some people were having picnic, fishing, walking, running and kids playing. Yaayyy!! At last we can take a walk. Not bad at all! So we walked all the way round the lake. it took us about almost 30 minutes to walk around the lake.

Hmmm... i felt better. not pissed anymore! haha! i got what i wanted. I almost hated my husband today. I started to pout already when i thought i can't go for a walk. crazy me! Well, he should understand that i really need exercise everyday now. Next time i ask him, i will insist that we will just go to the trail nearby. I just a need a short walk not a long drive. get it??

Get Paid at Paying Post

Being a stay at home wife is quite boring. There is nothing much to do at home. I spend most of my time browsing online. Reading just about anything that would catch my attention. I do whatever i can think of just to fill in my day. I also often talk to some friends online and one of them introduced me to blogging world.

At first i don't know anything about it. I don't even know how to start, so i ask myself how am i going to start writing? And what's worse is that i don't know what am i going to write in my blog. So she told me just to write anything that would come to my mind. In short, make it as a journal or diary. So i started writing about my life.

And then later on i learned that you also
get paid to blog. At first i was skeptical. But i found out many bloggers actually got paid through blogging. So i signed up myself, submitted my blog and waited if my blog will get approved. After a few days i got an email from Paying Post saying that my blog has been approved. I was so happy and i thank paying post for having my blog approved. Now i can start earning some money through blogging.

Signing up is so easy, try it now and see if your blog qualifies too. Start earning money from home. Now i can say that being a stay home wife will never be boring anymore. Earning money at the comfort of your home is more convenient. all you have to have is a blog.

Our First Day of Spring

Finally winter is over! yes! Yesterday spring season has started. The weather was so nice so we spent our day outside. We went out for a drive and later on decided to watch a movie in the theater but we got there so early so my husband thought of getting a haircut since it's been over a month when he had his last haircut. We found a salon nearby the cinema so we went there. just in time when he was done the movie was about to start. We watched "I Love You, Man" a funny movie. We both enjoy it! After the movie we went to an asian market to buy some things. He's been asking me to make a filipino style spaghetti for a long time. He likes it more than the american style spaghetti. Because it is a little bit sweeter and creamier. So last night that was our dinner. He likes it with a garlic bread on the side. He dip it on the sauce. And it's been a long time since i made it and i also miss it. So that's how we spent first day of spring. How about you?

It's just 12 months!

Moms on Net

Finally , I Can Sleep!

I have posted before about sleeping positions specially at night. I have been having trouble sleeping since i can't lay on my back because i am pregnant and the best sleeping position adviced by my doctor is to sleep either sides. But it is best on the left side. But then i can't get comfortable because i am a back sleeper. But now, i can finally sleep! I looked up pregnancy pillows online and i found the one i was looking for. It is a back and belly pillow, it is really a big help since it support both my back and belly. I am sleeping like a baby eversince i am using it. The only problem is that it is huge and it almost covered all the space in our bed. We have a queen bed. Now my husband is the one having problem sleeping cuz he can't lay down comfortably because of my pillow. lol!

Find it at

I am a person who always do searching online. I often go online to find answers with my questions. Now that i am pregnant, i have many things to learn about pregnancy. I have been doing a lot of online searching to learn all the things that i need to know. Sometimes it's just hard because i need to type a lot of words just to get an answer. Finally there's a search engine which is so easy to access and easy to remember. Isn't that great? I can also Find People here and what's better is that i can also Find Friend. How cool is that! And read this... the coolest of them all if you are jobless Find Jobs here, who knows your luck is waiting for you here.

Craving for Sweets!

I have been thinking of making leche flan for a few days now and honestly i have never tried to make one my whole life though i know how to make it. Pretty easy but i was just hesitant. And one more thing is that i have a steamer but i don't have llanera. lol! But lately i just can't stop thinking about it. I was thinking where to pour the mixture and have it steamed. So what i did was after mixing all the ingredients i pour it into a plastic container and let it stand in the steamer for about 45 minutes. First trial... It turned out good though! The sweetness was just perfect to me cuz i dont want it too sweet. The picture below is my very first leche flan ever made!

Safe and Natural Beaute de Maman Beauty Products

I am pregnant and i can say that i have seen and felt a lot of changes in my body. Not only physical changes but also physiological and hormonal changes. My husband always tell me that i have been acting weird specially in the early stage of my pregnancy. I also noticed the changes in my skin, it became dryer. Acne are growing in my forehead and even in my abdomen. I started to panic because i dont want it to spread all over my face. My husband suggests that i should look online for beauty products that has natural and herbal ingredients in it. I may have been using something with a strong ingredient that can also harm the fetus i am carrying inside. And that strikes me most. I want my baby's safety with the products that i am using for myself. I dont want any harm to my baby.

I was pretty amazed when i came accross to this product of
Beaute de Maman , they have a variety of beauty products that i really need just in time of my pregnancy. I have read that their products contain only natural and herbal ingredients and are safe for both mother-to-be and fetus. And each one has been extensively studied and evaluated. They are allergy and obstetrician tested. So to all pregnant women out there you should try this, order now!

Breastfeeding Benefits

In a few more months i will be giving birth to a baby girl. And i just can't wait for that, everyone in the family are excited to meet the new member of our family. We've been preparing all the stuff we need for her arrival. We already most of what we need especially the nursery set and travel system. Along with the preparation we are also thinking which is best for her nutrition needs. I didn't think too much about it beacuse i personally want to breastfeed her. I believe that a mothers milk is the safest food specially for a newborn at a least cost. And it is also good for mothers during postpartum period.

Here's a research which will help us more understand the benefits of breastfeeding:

1. Research shows that breastfed infants have fewer and shorter episodes of illness.
2. Breastfeeding is the most natural and nutritious way to encourage your baby’s optimal development.
3. Colostrum (the first milk) is a gentle, natural laxative that helps clear baby’s intestine, decreasing the chance for jaundice to occur.
4. The superior nutrition provided by breastmilk benefits your baby’s IQ.
5. Breastfeeding is a gentle way for newborns to transition to the world outside the womb.
6. The skin-to-skin contact encouraged by breastfeeding offers babies greater emotional security and enhances bonding.
7. The activity of sucking at the breast enhances development of baby’s oral muscles, facial bones, and aids in optimal dental development.
8. Breastfeeding appears to reduce the risk of obesity and hypertension.
9. Breastfeeding delays the onset of hereditary allergic disease, and lowers the risk of developing allergic disease.
10. Breastfeeding helps the baby’s immune system mature, protecting the baby in the meantime from viral, bacteria, and parasitic infections.
11. Breastfeeding increases the effectiveness of immunizations, increasing the protection against polio, tetanus, and diptheria vaccines.
12. Breastfeeding protects against developing chronic diseases such as: celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, asthma, and childhood cancers.

1. Research shows that breastfeeding benefits the health of mothers.
2. Breastmilk is always fresh, perfectly clean, just the right temperature, and is the healthy choice at the least cost!
3. Increased levels of oxytocin stimulate postpartum uterine contractions, minimizing blood loss and encouraging rapid uterine toning.
4. From 3 months to 12 months postpartum, breastfeeding increases the rate of weight loss in most nursing mothers.
5. Breastfeeding offers some protection against the early return of fertility.
6. Because breastfed babies are healthier, their mothers miss less work and spend less time and money on pediatric care.
7. Breastfeeding women report psychological benefits such as increased self-confidence and a stronger sense of connection with their babies.
